Was it really necessary for the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences to place a full-page ad in the Nov. 18 edition of the Star?

In these times of budget cuts and limited funds, it would seem the money could have been used for better purposes. I also do not agree with the content of the Holocaust ad, but for the liberal arts college to advocate censorship is quite atrocious considering their stance against it in the art department controversy last year.

If you are going to make a public stand on an issue you had better make it for all issues, not just the ones you like.
