Street Interviews: Do you still watch award shows?

DeKALB – Award shows used to be something I would often look forward to. They were fun and exciting to watch with many jaw dropping moments. Whether it’s Beyoncé performing a smash hit, Drake confessing his love to Rihanna, or Ye running onto stage, my eyes would be glued to the screen. However, over time, I stopped watching them. They soon became repetitive, my favorite artists would get snubbed, and I just completely lost the interest I first had in them.

The Grammys were last week and many shared their opinions of the show on social media. NIU students shared why or why not they watch award shows.
