Mortar Board would like to congratulate all the Greek and Independent Organizations that exhibited so much spirit during this year’s Homecoming celebration.

Mortar Board is the Senior Honor Society on campus. Our members are chosen based on their leadership, scholarship and service which are represented by our letters—Pi Sigma Alpha. Our members represent some of the very best students at NIU.

We are proud of our participation in events such as the volleyball tournament, canoe races and the Homecoming court. We are especially proud of our members that were on the Homecoming court. These members are Waldemar Wyszynski, Debbie DePauw, who represented the Student Nursing Organization and Danette DeMoss who was this year’s Homecoming Queen.
