A woman reported she was assaulted by a man late Wednesday night at the east lagoon, University Police said Thursday.

The woman called the UPs from a call box, UP reports stated. She said she was looking for her lost keys at the east lagoon when an unidentified man approached her, police said.

Although the reports did not state what the man did to the woman, the incident was listed as a sexual assault.

The woman was taken to the University Health Service’s emergency room, police reports stated.

No more details were released by UPs by press time, but the incident is under investigation.
