DeKALB – A 19-year-old man was arrested at his home in Sycamore on a warrant for three class two felony counts of possession of child pornography on Wednesday.
Noah R. Meier was arrested on the 2300 block of Pioneer Way at 4:21 p.m.
The arrest followed several linked CyberTipline reports from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children that were received by the DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office on May 2, 2023.
The CyberTipline reports were made by Discord in reference to files of child sexual abuse materials or child pornography being possessed/uploaded online by a Discord user.
Meier was released and must appear for a court date at 9 am on April 15 at the DeKalb County Courthouse.
