The 11-minute journey with Blue Origin was marketed as an empowerment to women with its all-female crew. However, this endeavor has been met with backlash as it’s monetary investment seems insensitive in today’s political and economic climate.
Krug and Rose also discuss the death of Pope Francis and its implications for the world.
They also address the University of South Carolina’s Speak Your Mind Ice Bucket Challenge. While it is a great way to bring attention to mental health, they worry some participants may not have the right intentions.
