Offices to close during holiday

Most NIU offices and facilities will be taking a break along with students during Thanksgiving.

The Holmes Student Center will close at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday and reopen at noon Sunday, but the student center bookstore and Pow Wow will remain closed until Monday.

The student center Huskies Den will be open from 6 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. Sunday.

The Huskie Bus Lines will run until 1 p.m. Wednesday and will resume regular service Monday.

Founders Memorial Library will close at 5 p.m. Wednesday and stay closed Thursday. The library will have limited hours Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and will return to normal hours Sunday from 1 p.m. to 2 a.m.

The Shapiro Law Library in Swen Parson Hall will be closed Thursday and Friday and open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to midnight Sunday.

All computer labs will close at 4 p.m. Wednesday and reopen at 8 a.m. Monday.

The Office of Campus Recreation will be open until 4 p.m. Wednesday and will be closed until 7 a.m. Monday.

The University Health Services will close at 4:30 p.m. Wednesday and regular services will resume Monday at 8 a.m.

The university switchboard will close at 4:30 p.m. Wednesday and reopen at 1 p.m. Sunday.
