Company holds audition

Northern Illinois Stage Company will hold open auditions for two summer productions on Sunday Feb. 25 from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the Stevens Building O’Connell Theater.

The two shows, “You’re A Good Man, Charlie Brown” and “The Musical Comedy Murders of 1940,” will be presented byy the company at the Norris Cultural Arts Center in St. Charles during June and July of this year.

Production directors ask that each actor present one uptempo song and a contemporary two-minute comic monologue at the audition this weekend. The age range for male and female characters in both productions is 20 to 50 years old.

In addition to actors and actresses, the cmpany is looking for scenery, costume and lighting technicians for the summer season. Those interested in technical work on either show may contact Marshall Price at (815) 753-1334.

Rehearsals for both productions will begin in May and all positions are paid.
