Remark uncalled for

Along with Greg Bliss, I, too, am unhappy with the voter turnout at the recent election. However, his remark that “people still walked past the polls fat, dumb and happy” was uncalled for. Yes, this campus reeks of apathy, but more people would have voted had it not been necessary to produce a class schedule along with a school ID. I found this a great inconvenience, and I’m certain some of those “fat, dumb, happy people” did not feel like digging up that scrap of paper they received over a month ago.
