Insincere motives

The John Lennon Society currently has a food drive to benefit the needy families in the DeKalb area. The JLS fears that students who do not take such a kind liking toward the JLS would be hesitant to donate food or money at the collection areas.

There’s a simple solution! Why not keep your name off the promotion of this project, and not advertise your three letter word, JLS, at any of the collection areas? After all, aren’t the needy more important than your need to booster your already sagging image on campus? I think so!

I hope your drive is successful for the sake of the deserving, but your ostensive motive behind the drive is not that of the utmost sincerity.
