Only in his sophomore season with the Huskies, German has already become a leader and is the go-to scorer for the team.

German has more than doubled his scoring average from this past season, which was 9.5 points per game, as he currently leads the MAC conference averaging 20.5 points per game. He shows no signs of slowing down coming off of a career-high 31 points Saturday against Western Michigan University.

“I [just go] with the flow,” German said. “I just try to keep my head and go out there and play my game.”

Head Coach Mark Montgomery says he admires the explosive and aggressive nature of German’s game no matter who they’re facing.

“German’s going to be aggressive no matter what,” Montgomery said. “He knows one speed, and he knows he’s a one-man fast break.”
