You Will (Probably) Love ABC’s Newest Fall Show

Fall has finally arrived, and with it always comes the consistent influx of television networks as they advertise a variety of up-and-coming series. American Broadcasting Center (ABC), known for prominent shows such as “Grey’s Anatomy” and “Modern Family,” has prepared their own lineup with feisty fall additions.Their latest line-up contains a promising assortment, from “The Good Doctor” starring Freddie Highmore (“Bates Motel”) to “The Mayor” starring Lea Michele (“Glee”).

Another noteworthy show to tune into this fall is “Kevin (Probably) Saves the World” starring Jason Ritter (“Parenthood”). Creators and Executive Producers Tara Butters and Michele Fazekas take on a comedic route as the two construct a world in which Kevin Finn lives a sad, unfilling reality. After an unsuccessful attempt to take his life, Kevin moves in with his sister Amy and his niece Reese. Following an unknown meteor landing, a woman named Yvette introduces herself as Kevin’s protector and explains how Kevin is humanity’s last hope for survival.

The series premiered Tuesday and has already received promising reviews. Listed at a 7.5 on IMDb and a 68 percent on Rotten Tomatoes, “Kevin (Probably) Saves the World” has the potential to leave its audience in both laughter and tears as viewers navigate the disbelieving reality Kevin now lives.
