Mitchell Trubisky, Chicago Bears quarterback, got his first professional win against the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday. Trubisky completed 8 of 16 passes for 113 yards and a touchdown while adding four scrambles for 32 yards.

Trubisky and the Bears beat the Ravens, 27-24. The Ravens were previously 10-0 against rookie quarterbacks and Trubisky ended the streak. He was mobile against the Ravens. The Bears hasn’t had a quarterback capable of getting out the pocket and making plays on their feet since Jim Harbaugh in 1993.

Trubisky showed tremendous poise under pressure. The Bears and Ravens went into overtime, and Trubisky made a 18 yard completion to Kendall Wright, which lead to a game-winning field goal by Connor Barth.

Trubisky still has a lot of room to grow and develop. Once the Bears get more offensive weapons, he will become more efficient and a bigger threat. Trubisky is a promising player who has a bright future in Chicago.
