The Northern Star got in a few questions with Keyboard, melodica and vocalist Andrew Schneider, and bass and vocalist Duain Altimeter, before he takes the stage with his band on Friday, since the establishment’s several month-long closing, to understand Solar Pulse’s overall excitement and song selections they have planned for their set.

A: Our crowd favorites that we’ll be playing on the 14th are ‘Shark in the Water’ and ‘Rhythm of Blue.’

Q: What is the band’s particular style?

A: You can generally call us a jam-rock or progressive rock band, but we have jazz and funk influences as well.

Q: Explain the general excitement that the band has for The House.
