Starbusters, 930 Pappas Drive, sat vacant until the business was purchased by three business people who converted the location into another bar, Rosy’s Roadhouse.

By Northern Star staff

Starbusters was purchased on April 30, 2013 to be turned into Rosy’s Roadhouse by three business people.

The buyers; Brendan Fitzharris, Joe Chaves and Rosy Amodio picked the name Rosy’s Roadhouse because they wanted to create a “party bar atmosphere,” according to a April 30, 2013 Northern Star article.

Then Mayor Kris Povlsen said he was pleased there was a purchaser of the location instead of it being closed down.

“I think it says that we are still a very vibrant community,” Povlsen said.

Rosy’s Roadhouse was open from Spring 2013-2015 and is now being replaced by Rosati’s Pizza. The date for it’s opening is to be determined.
