With fall comes colorful sports apparel. Here’s what students are wearing.

Sophomore chemistry major Mark Nogalo said he’s had this sweatshirt for about three years and it was a Christmas present from his brother. Nogalo said he’s been a Cubs fan since birth. 

Joe Widmer, junior industrial management major, said he got his No. 17 Philip Rivers jersey from NFL’s online shop about a year ago. Widmer said he used to be a big Chargers fan around 2006-07 when they had LaDainian Tomlinson and Philip Rivers, among other players. 

Ansley Wells, senior elementary education major, said her grandpa is from Wisconsin and her family is on the list of Packers season ticket holders. Wells said she’s excited about the team’s 4-0 start and could see them going far in the postseason.

Christian Taylor, freshman mechanical engineering major, said he’s been watching the Hawks with his dad since he was a kid, but he really became interested in the team a few years ago when the ownership changed and all home games were broadcasted on TV again.

“It was like fast paced soccer on ice, and I loved everything about it,” Taylor said.
