The annual Tugs tournament begins April 20 after four months of preparation from competitors.

Tugs is a week-long tug of war competition that will run April 20-25 on the east side of Huskie Stadium. The championship match is April 25.

Greek organizations have participated in Tugs since the 60s when it was held at the East Lagoon. The tournament was moved to Huskie Stadium from the Sigma Phi Epsilon house in 2008 after the fraternity lost its charter, according to an April 10 Northern Star article.

Phi Sigma Kappa has won the last three Tugs championship matches.
