Registration is now open online for the KishHealth System Physical Therapy Center’s eighth annual 5K run and walk event for competition and the promotion of health and fitness.

The run/walk event starts 8 a.m. May 30. The course starts and ends at the KishHealth System Physical Therapy Center, 2111 Midlands Court in Sycamore. Awards will be given to the overall male and female winners and the top three winners from designated age groups.

Registration for the event is $20 for the general public and $15 for KishHealth employees. Registration on the day of the event will cost $25 and runs 6:45-7:45 a.m. All proceeds will be donated to Adventure Works DeKalb County.

Pre-registered runners will receive T-shirts. Those who register on the day of the event will also receive a T-shirt on a first come, first serve basis.

Refreshments will be available for all participants before and after the race. The KishHealth Physical Therapy Center staff will be available for stretching and massages after the race.
