Top 10 athletes: No. 10: Isaac Kannah pivotal for men’s soccer

Isaac Kannah, men’s soccer senior forward, checks in at No. 10 on Sports’ list of the top 10 athletes of 2014-15.

Kannah garnered All-MAC First Team honors while leading the Huskies in points (12), goals (four) and assists (four). His four goals in 16 games were tied for ninth-most in the MAC.

Kannah became the first Huskie in nearly a decade to receive all-conference honors three times in his career. He was named to the All-MAC Second Team in 2011 and 2013.

“Isaac [Kannah], since freshman year, has been a crucial member of the team,” said senior center back Dusty Page, according to a Sept. 16 Northern Star article. “Just his pure athleticism, his knowledge of the game and his passion for the game really make him a player that is difficult to guard, and when he is working hard on defense he is an all-around player.”
