Police Reports: Jan. 28-29

Wednesday

1. On Sept. 29, credit card fraud was reported to have occurred at the NIU Police Department. This case was closed by exception Wednesday.

2. At 2:15 a.m., David Matuszewski, 28, of Cortland, was charged with possession of cannabis 30 grams and under reported to have occurred at 200 S. Annie Glidden Road.

3. At 12:30 p.m., criminal damage to property was reported to have occurred at Lot A. This case was suspended.

4. At 5:05 p.m. Dec. 1, harassment by telephone was reported to have occurred at Stevenson North. This case was opened Wednesday.

Thursday

5. At 7 a.m. Dec. 7, theft $500 and under was reported to have occurred at Stevenson South. At 1:16 p.m. Thursday, Abria Sims, 18, of Dolton, was charged.

6. At 12:40 a.m., domestic battery was reported to have occurred at Lincolnshire West Apartments, 1307 W. Lincoln Highway. This case was referred to another agency.

7. At 1:40 a.m., two counts of illegal consumption of alcohol were reported to have occurred at 900 W. Hillcrest Drive. This case was closed by exception.

8. At 12:09 p.m., Kyra Alexander, 21, of DeKalb, was charged with two in-state warrants reported to have occurred at 300 N. Annie Glidden Road.

9. At 12:01 a.m., illegal possession of alcohol by a minor and sales of liquor to a minor were reported to have occurred at Stevenson South. This case was closed by exception.

10. At 11:15 a.m., theft more than $500 was reported to have occurred at Watson Hall. This case is open.

11. On July 7, identity theft was reported to have occurred at 5 Northern View Circle. This case was opened Thursday.

12. At 9:10 a.m., theft $500 and under was reported to have occurred at New Residence Hall East. This case is open.

13. At 8:25 p.m., theft more than $500 was reported to have occurred at the Recreation Center. This case is open.
