Anthropology museum opens Underground Railroad exhibit

“Trowels and Fair Trade: Revealing the Underground Railroad and Contemporary Slavery” is a new exhibit at the Anthropology Museum, posing questions about the Underground Railroad. The exhibit is based on excavations by alumna Lisa Brown and current graduate students Ashlee Craig and Kweku Williams.

The exhibit is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesdays through Fridays until Oct. 12. Admission is free. For information contact Jennifer Kirker Priest at [email protected].
