Congressman Randy Hultgren, R-Winfield, has announced the start of the 2013 Congressional Art Competition for high school student from Illinois’ 14th Congressional District, according to a news release from Hultgren’s office.

Entries in the competition must be submitted to Hultgren’s district office, 1797 W. State St., Suite A, in Geneva, by April 4. Submissions will only need to be framed if the entry is chosen as the winner.

The winning submission will be displayed in the U.S. Capitol for the year, and the winner will receive a round-trip ticket to Washington, D.C., courtesy of Southwest Airlines, according to Hultgren’s office.
