Friday

At 2:31 a.m., an officer was sent to Lot X in regard to a report of theft from a motor vehicle. The officer met with the complainant and took a report. This case is open pending further investigation.

3:27 p.m., officers were sent to the Northern View apartments in regard to a report of possible domestic dispute. Officers arrived on the scene and initiated an investigation. Officers determined the incident to be criminal damage to state-supported property. A person was referred to the Office of Community Standards and Student Conduct.

At 4:18 p.m., an officer was sent to the NIU Police Department in regard to a report of theft. The officer met with the complainant and took a report. The case is administratively closed due to a lack of leads.

Saturday

At 3:44 p.m., an officer was sent to the NIU Police Department in regard to a report of theft. The officer met with the complainant and took a report. This case is administratively closed due to a lack of leads.

At 5:46 p.m., an officer was sent to the NIU Police Department in regard to a report of disorderly conduct. The officer met with the complainant and took a report. This case is open pending further investigation.

At 6:35 p.m., an officer was sent to Neptune Hall West in regard to a report of theft. The officer met with the complainant and took a report. This case is open pending further investigation.

At 10:39 p.m., an officer was sent to the 400 block of College Avenue in regard to a report of a suspicious person. The officer met with the complainant and initiated an investigation. The officer determined the incident to be a domestic battery. This case is open pending further investigation.

Sunday

At 10:30 a.m. on Nov. 12, an officer was sent to the NIU Police Department in regard to a report of identity theft. The officer met with the complainant and took a report. On Sunday, the case was administratively closed due to a lack of leads.

At 1:37 a.m., officers were dispatched to Lot X in regard to a report of battery. Officers arrived on scene and initiated an investigation. Nicholas B. Nobiling, 18, of Monmouth, was arrested for aggravated battery. Nobiling was processed at the NIU Police Department and then sent to the DeKalb County jail.

At 4:15 p.m., an officer was sent to the NIU Police Department in regard to a report of unlawful use of a credit card. The officer met with the complainant and took a report. The case was administratively closed due to a lack of leads.
