The Mendelssohn Performing Arts Center (MPAC) will present the Mendelssohn Performing Artists concert, The Sounds of Winter: Music to Warm the Spirit, at 7:30 p.m. on Dec. 7 at Court Street United Methodist Church, 215 N. Court St. in Rockford, according to a news release.

Gale Ketteler will be the featured vocalist. Performing with Ketteler will be organists Trish Rooney and Jean Anderson, with Mark Baldin on trumpet and Nanette Felix on harp.
