June 23

At 8 p.m., an officer was dispatched to 827 S. Second St. after a woman contacted police about her ex-boyfriend harassing her. The alleged harassment took place via text messages and had been going on for a month. The officer tried contacting the man by voicemail. The case is closed.

At 5:20 p.m., an officer was dispatched to Robert’s Hardwood Floors, 632 Bush St., after neighbors witnessed a worker dump sawdust in their flower bed. The neighbors observed the sawdust start a fire. The complainant is trying to contact the worker to make arrangements to adjust payments.

June 24

At 11:39 p.m., an officer was dispatched to University Village, 722 W. Annie Glidden Road, after a fight broke out between two black males. The victim said he did not know the identity of any of the other subjects and did not want to press charges. The case is closed.

At 3:55 p.m., an officer was dispatched to Phillips 66, 1102 N. First St., for disorderly conduct. A couple came into the store to purchase cigarettes without a valid ID. The complainant explained the store policy to them and a suspect became belligerent. The complainant provided police with a license plate and asked that the two be banned from the premises. The case is pending.

At 3:43 p.m., an officer was dispatched to Target, 2555 Sycamore Road, after a third party witnessed an argument between two drivers. The police believe the confrontation was gang-related. This is inactive in status.

At 5:03 p.m., an officer was dispatched to 1311 Adams Way to deal with an argument between a couple there. The complainant allegedly grabbed his girlfriend’s arm and asked her to leave the premises. The complainant later said that he did not want his girlfriend saying certain things to his children and that he never grabbed her arm.

At 7:25 p.m., police were requested by the management of Buffalo Wild Wings, 2466 Sycamore Road, to help assist with customers leaving and not paying their bills. The incident started when a woman used a giftcard to pay for her meal, but there giftcard did not fully cover the bill. The woman then said she needed to go to her car to get more money. At 8:52 p.m., the woman returned to pay her bill.

At 7:56 p.m., police were contacted after a stray dog was found wandering at 1018 S. Second St.

At 11:10 p.m., officers were dispatched to 628 N. 13th St. after finding out that William C. Savage, 21, who had been charged with battery, was there. The warrant for his arrest had been serviced after he failed to appear in court for his battery case.

June 25

Officers were dispatched to 1515 Legacy Drive, to arrest Corey E. Olsen, 24, who was charged with drug possession of paraphernalia.
