Experience with the SA: She collaborated with the Women’s Resource Center and Recreation Center on self-defense classes, encouraged Greek Row residents to attend athletic events, worked with the Director of Governmental Affairs to hold a voter registration drive and is connected with different organizations and students around campus.

Motivation: She said she wants to be a good representative of students.

Campaign: She wants to create a review process for each organization’s constitution and implement a new recognition process for student groups. She wants to improve communication between committees, SA offices and students. She wants to give student organizations the opportunity to collaborate and communicate more. She wants students to interact more with campus-wide events like NIU Cares Day. She wants to help publicize the events of student organizations and make the SA a stronger voice for students.

Motivation: She said she wants to give more attention to important issues like campus safety, digitizing votes, avoiding segregation and improving contact with students.

Campaign: She wants to encourage student involvement with the university and enhance student involvement with the SA. She wants to work on making voting digital. She wants to use the Organizational Expo to target incoming freshmen more effectively. She wants segregation in organizations avoided. She want to increase personal contact with student organizations.
