The trial for the man charged in killing NIU student Antinette “Toni” Keller was rescheduled to June 11 at a status hearing Monday.

Public Defender Regina Harris’ case could not be ready by May, and she needed additional time to prepare for trial, said Clay Campbell, DeKalb County State’s Attorney.

William Curl, 35, is charged with five counts of first-degree murder, one count of concealment of a homicide, one count of criminal sexual assault and one count of arson. He is currently being held at the DeKalb County Jail on $5 million bond.

Final jury status is set for June 7.
