Campus blotter for 11/07/11

Wednesday

At 8:47 p.m., an officer responded to the NIU Police Department for a theft report. Upon arrival, he met with a student who said someone stole several items of his mail. This case is pending investigation.

At 10:30 p.m., officers responded to the fifth floor of the Douglas Hall B Wing for a report of burned cannabis. Upon arrival, they smelled burned cannabis coming from the suspected room. The officers contacted the residents of the room and referred one to the Office of Community Standards and Student Conduct for unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.

Thursday

At 8:40 a.m., officers responded to the Holmes Student Center NIU OneCard Office for a call regarding counterfeit money. This case is pending investigation.
