Anyone interested in consideration for write-in candidacy for the April 5 Consolidated Election must submit a declaration before Feb. 3, according to a DeKalb County press release.

The press release stated write-in candidates must register with the County Clerk’s office in order to be counted as an official candidate for office.

Those interested can pick up declaration paperwork from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday at the DeKalb County Clerk and Recorder’s office, 110 E. Sycamore St., Sycamore, stated the press release.
