Man arrested after trespass complaint

DeKALB | According to a Tuesday DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office press release, sheriffs responded to 14500 block of Bianca Lane in rural Hinckley for a report of a trespass complaint. Upon arrival, sheriffs learned that there was a man inside the residence when the homeowner returned home.

According to the release, the suspect was later identified as Keith Lowrance, 21, of Somonauk.

Lowrance fled the residence through a second floor window.

A DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office canine unit responded to the scene and tracked Lowrance to a location on Duffy Road, according to the release.

Lowrance then jumped onto a squad car and kicked the windshield out and then began fighting with the officers, according to the release.

Lowrance was taken into custody, and charged with residential burglary, criminal damage to state supported property, resisting a peace officer and aggravated battery, according to the release.
