At 12:39 p.m. on Tuesday, DeKalb Police stopped a vehicle in the 100 block of N. Annie Glidden Road after observing the passenger not wearing a seat belt. Police learned the driver, Shaun L. Pope, 24, of Chicago had a suspended license. Pope was arrested and charged with driving with a suspended license. He was later released on bond.
At 4:16 p.m. on Tuesday, DeKalb Police stopped a vehicle in the 1600 block of Sycamore Road after observing the driver not wearing a seat belt. Police learned the driver, Dwayne K. Wilson, 19, of DeKalb had a suspended license. Wilson was arrested and charged with driving with a suspended license and failure to wear a seat belt.
