DeKalb City Clerk Candidate: Patricia Mossholder

By JESSICA SABBAH

Patricia Mossholder

Education: B.A. in management and leadership from Judson College

Experience: Several corporate initiative projects and corporate trainer at ComEd, written and evaluated tests at ComEd, wrote and revised manuals at ComEd, dispatcher (managed and scheduled people) at Floit Ready Mix and 20 plus years as a customer service specialist

What will you bring to the city if elected?: I would like to ensure transparency as a public servant. I would like to see the council meetings agenda out a little sooner than it is now. The value added is that I already have my own health insurance benefits so I would save the city a minimum of $18,000. I am a conscientious, service-oriented individual. I have effective organizational and multi-tasking skills. I will follow the rules of the open meetings act and report and record without bias and look for ways to improve efficiencies within the city clerk department. … I promise to run the office with integrity, professionalism, ethics and clear transparency and an open door policy.
