Octomom wants to add to load with new TV show, trademark name

As if the OctoMom weren’t crazy enough, she now wants to trademark the name for a television show and a diaper line.

According to CNN.com, “Word of [Nadya] Suleman’s federal trademark filings came as her lawyer confirmed he is talking to production companies about a TV show but said reports of a signed deal are premature.”

One of her lawyers filed the applications to trademark the name on Friday. The request was made in the application that the name be “OctoMom.”

Suleman also wants to trademark the name to sell “disposable and textile diapers, dresses, pants and shirts,” CNN.com said.

Really? The woman wants a TV show and a clothing line? I, for one, don’t want to be sporting a pair of OctoMom jeans. But, that’s just my standpoint.

And what’s the TV show going to be about? The birth of her eight children and how she’s not able to support them financially?

Suleman is unemployed and on public aid. She probably wants to trademark the name to bring in some extra cash. She should think about getting a job and becoming stable so she will be able to raise her children in a normal environment rather than marketing herself which makes her look bad to the public that already has negative thoughts about her.

If she does get the deal for the TV show, sadly, people will watch it. Not because of an interest in her family life but because she’s the OctoMom with 14 kids all under the age of 10; she’s crazy.

She’s already gotten a ton of publicity; what more does she want? Her children shouldn’t have to grow up in such strange circumstances just because their mother chooses not to live a normal life.

All of Suleman’s children were conceived through in-vitro fertilization. So, the woman has no money for food but enough to keep the babies coming… that’s sad.
