What’s on your iPod?

1) Kid Cudi “Man On The Moon”

Kid Cudi seems to understands what music is about. It’s not the typical rhymes about “I’m rich, I get girls and I came from the streets.” This is a brand new style of rap.

2) Ben Folds “Landed”

As a piano player, you have to love the instrumental behind Ben’s unique voice. His lyrics, at times cryptic, make it fun to listen to.

3) Ratatat “Lex”

Ratatat, formerly known as Cherry, produces strictly beats and instrumentals. “Lex” is a song that you can just turn on and enjoy despite the absence of lyrics.

4) Kaiser Chiefs “I Predict A Riot”

The Kaiser Chiefs are a relatively unknown indie rock band, and I hope they stay that way. They have something catchy about all their songs so as long as radio stays away from these guys, it’s all good.

5) Robots In Disguise “Turn It Up”

Robots In Disguise is an all-female electronic band whose lyrics and vocals add that something special to their beats. “Turn It Up” is an awesome song to just chill to or go “banana sandwich” to at a party.
