Re-evaluate boycott

Approaching the end of another semester means time for student-teacher evaluations.

This semester, the idea to publish these evaluations seems to be creating a controversy. I personally would find it interesting to compare my opinion of particular teachers to others’ opinions of teachers.

I’m sure there have been many situations we have all been in when we are struggling to choose our class sections. If no one is around to help us, looking over the teachers’ overall evaluations may help us decide.

Publishing the evaluations might also cause certain teachers who need to improve to do so. Considering most teachers like to have a good reputation, they might be more likely to improve to strengthen their reputation.

Furthermore, to those who are wasting their time in the boycott, why don’t you take time to re-evaluate your decision?
