5 Most Annoying Commercials Currently On Air

Over the past couple years, companies seem to have run out of ideas for witty commercials.

Remember when watching the Super Bowl was twice as fun because of all the new commercials being released, which subsequently left you with no time to take a bathroom break? Now it seems as though commercials are leaving the wit behind and replacing it with jokes that are just downright dumb.

These are just a few of those that have failed lately.

5. Pizza/Pasta Hut

Are we really supposed to believe that someone in a four-star restaurant could order “Premium Bacon Mac and Cheese” and call it “decadent?”

4. Mazda’s “Zoom Zoom”

Really, Mazda advertising executives? You couldn’t have come up with a better slogan by now? It’s been over a decade!

3. Geico Commericals

Whether it’s the lizard or the cavemen or the C-List celebrity endorsements, they still aren’t funny. You’re selling car insurance, not that guy from “Police Academy” who makes sound effects.

Although they keep it fresh with new jingles, each one seems to be worse than the one before. Not to mention, they get stuck in one’s head so easily. “F-R-E-E that spells ‘free’ credit report dot com, baby!”

After the 80th time, it becomes tiresome watching a woman scold her husband for throwing away “milky minutes.” What does that even mean?
