New season of ‘Always Sunny’ promises bigger laughs

Since its beginning in 2005, “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia” has proved itself as being one of the funniest shows on television.

Now, with three seasons under its belt, FX assures “Always Sunny” will deliver even bigger laughs in its fourth go-round.

“Sunny” follows the constantly scheming and always outrageous group of friends as they do anything but run their business, Paddy’s Pub. Whether it’s dealing with racism, homelessness, serial killers or terrorism, the show never fears to tackle the touchy issues.

Each episode digs the main characters further and further into their own personal grave as they manage to be more inappropriate and twisted than any human being could ever possibly imagine. The bar’s owners Mac, Charlie, Dennis, Dee and their father figure Frank (Danny DeVito) work day and night, often against each other, to get ahead and enjoy the high life that neither one has yet experienced.

Although it may have taken “Always Sunny” a few seasons to really begin to be recognized, it has been a brilliant show from the very first episode. Season 3 was recently released on DVD, giving everyone a chance to either review or enjoy for the first time, the hilarity of “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia” before the premiere of the brand new season on September 18th on FX at 9.
