By KYLE SPENCER

As summer closes its doors and fall begins, we will begin to see the DVD releases of all our summer favorites. Here are just a few that you can find on the shelves for the first time today:

Sex and the City: The highly anticipated summer film was a hit over the summer, and it is sure to please any fan of the long-running HBO show.

The film follows the life of New York City writer Carrie (Sarah Jessica Parker), who – after years of searching – is finally getting married. All the same topics of the show still apply to the film of course including love, dating and sex.

Leatherheads: George Clooney directs and stars in this period piece set in 1925 about the beginning of the pro football league. And what sports movie would be complete without a love story on the side involving Clooney and “The Office’s” John Krasinski fighting for Renee Zellweger.

Run Fatboy Run: “Shaun of the Dead” star Simon Pegg stars in the comedy about a man who leaves his pregnant wife at the alter on their wedding day. Five years later, Denis Doyle decides to join a marathon to show his ex-fiancée that he is able to commit to something in hopes of winning her back.

Deception: When Wyatt Bose (Hugh Jackman) is introduced to a mysterious brothel known as “The List” by his lawyer friend Jonathan McQuarry (Ewan McGregor), he soon becomes the prime suspect in the disappearance of a woman and of a multi-million dollar heist.
