Jack came out of the explosion alive, but Bierko was unconscious.

The vice president continued to express that he wanted CTU absorbed by Homeland Security.

Wayne Palmer revealed Martha Logan’s assistant Evelyn was President Palmer’s source within the White House.

Evelyn said her daughter was kidnapped by Henderson and would be killed if she revealed any information. She said she will give Wayne Palmer the information if he gets her daughter back.

CTU was absorbed by Homeland Security.

Wayne got in contact with Jack and explained the situation. Jack agreed to help get Evelyn’s daughter back.

Homeland Security tried to get Audrey Raines to sign a document saying Bill Buchanan was responsible for all of the day’s actions — she declined.

Jack suggested the vice president may be a player in all of the occurrences of the day.

Audrey agreed to sign the document, but made a request of keeping Chloe O’Brian onboard for help. Bill and Chloe thought Audrey had betrayed them.

Jack was on the phone when Henderson called Evelyn for a location to exchange her daughter.

Jack went with Evelyn to make the exchange and Wayne Palmer helped out.

The exchange was made, but most of Henderson’s guards were killed and he fled the scene.

Henderson made a phone call to tell the person on the other line of what went on.

The person on the other line was President Logan. He is supposedly the brains behind all of the day’s occurrences.

Jack killed four people.
