We would like to apologize for any inconvenience we have caused some of our patrons. As you may have noted in your brochure the Ramsey Lewis performance has been scheduled for Friday, September 24. The date of this performance conflicts with Yom Kippur.

Originally when we were booking Ramsey Lewis, we were scheduling him for the evening of September 17. However, we were asked by the student chair of the Martin Luther King commons Dedication Committee if we could move the date as to not conflict with the banquet they were having that evening. We obliged them but had to reschedule our performance and a performance at the College of DuPage Arts Center. In our hurry to find another date to fit the artists schedule and the two faculty schedules, we failed to consult our Master Calendar and the date was scheduled over the observance of Yom Kippur.

We deeply regret our error and will offer subscribers a refund on a portion of their subscription of Ramsey Lewis concert. Please contact the UP&A office with your name, address and ticket for the event so we may mail you a refund check. The CAB Fine Arts Committee thanks you for your understanding.
