The DeKalb Police Department is investigating an armed robbery which occurred Wednesday at 12:43 a.m. at University Plaza.

The victim had just delivered a pizza to the south tower of University Plaza, 900 Crane Drive, DeKalb police said.

The victim was sitting in his car when the robber approached him, displayed a handgun and robbed the victim, police said.

The suspect fled on foot to the west, police said. Another person may have accompanied him.

The suspect is described as a white male with a thin build in his 20’s between 5 feet 8 inches tall and 6 feet tall, He wore a gray hooded sweatshirt, baggy jeans and a fabric mask. The person who accompanied him was a white male dressed in a sweatshirt and jeans.

The victim was not injured, police said.
