With two days remaining until the NIU Homecoming football game, tickets are still available for students and the general public.

Eric Schultz, associate director of ticketing said there are just under half of the 6,000 tickets allotted to students remaining. Sellout status will not be known until Friday.

For NIU’s Oct. 5 win over Miami-Ohio, 20,023 fans were in attendance. According to Todd Garzarelli, director of athletic marketing, 2,500 of the student tickets were no-shows.

Shultz added that students need a ticket and their NIU OneCard to enter the game. If tickets are not sold prior to the game, students can pick up tickets on the east side of Huskie Stadium before kickoff.

Saturday’s game against Eastern Michigan is scheduled for kickoff at 3:05 p.m. and will also be broadcast on Comcast SportsNet.

Tickets can be purchased from 8:30 a.m. until 5 p.m. at Entrance 2 of the Convocation Center and also from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Holmes Student Center.

Student tickets are free with a valid NIU OneCard, adult tickets are $25 and students can purchase up to four guest tickets for $15 each.
