Getting rid of the name Pow Wow was wrong. Indians had a Pow Wow when they gathered together with different tribes for a peaceful feast. People searching their true Indian roots want to be know for their tribal name such as Cherokee or Inuit, not as Native Americans. Taking that name from the Pow Wow was nothing more than taking something away from the Indians again, and giving in to Communism. Find the truth and give the Pow Wow back.
