DeKalb police arrested a 16-year-old juvenile Tuesday in connection with an April 30 armed robbery.

Police responded to the 800 block of Kimberly Drive at 4 a.m. after a victim reported being robbed by two black males.

The victim told police the men approached him and demanded money. One of the men implied he had a gun and held an object to the victim’s neck.

The victim told police he did not see a gun.

The victim said he had a cell phone and other personal items stolen.

The suspects then ran into the east-side door of a building at 820 Kimberly Drive.

The juvenile was charged with aggravated armed robbery and transported to the Kane County Juvenile Detention Center.

DeKalb police were unavailable for further comment as of press time.
