DeKalb holds mayoral elections

By Nina Gougis

Offices up for election include DeKalb mayor, aldermen in Wards 2, 4 and 6 and city clerk.

Voting booths are assigned, according to precinct, at 36 locations throughout the city, according to the DeKalb county Web site.

Polls will open at 6 a.m. and close at 7 p.m.

Those voting should bring at least one type of identification to the polls, said DeKalb County Clerk Sharon Holmes.

“A registration card would be best,” Holmes said. “[Voters] can also bring their driver’s license or something with a current DeKalb county address.”

The results will be posted on the DeKalb CCCCCounty Web site as they come in on election day.
