Sweeps searches for best Spring Break photo, entries due Wednesday

By Greg Feltes

How was your Spring Break? Fun? Exciting? Photogenic?

Sweeps hopes so. We are now accepting digital or hard copy entries for our first-ever best Spring Break photo contest. Submissions will be judged on uniqueness, lighting, sharpness and wildness. Essentially, you can submit whatever you want – be it a trip to a nightclub with your friends dressed to impress or climbing a coconut tree at 2 a.m. Plus, there’s always a slight chance that you will be the only entry, so even a shot of you sitting on a couch watching “Aqua Teen Hunger Force” might win.

You have two ways of entering. You can e-mail digital pictures to [email protected] or bring in developed shots to the Campus Life Building, Suite 130. Photos should be submitted with a short caption that properly sets the scene and identifies all of the participants to the best of your ability. Your entry should include your name, major, year, e-mail address and phone number. By submitting an entry, you are agreeing to let your submission be printed in the Northern Star. Photos are due by 3 p.m. Wednesday.

Oh yeah, the photos must be printable. We don’t mean to be prude, but nude is just rude.
