I read an article in the Northern Star (on Tuesday, August 24) about a plan to expand the Recreation Center (“Plan might expand rec center” on page 1.)

The proposed addition sounds like a good idea except for one thing. The proposed addition would be on the north side of the Recreation Center—the parking lot. Would the addition cause a decrease in the amount of parking space available for those who park by the Recreation Center? If so, and the proposal passes, then it would be a good idea to replace the amount of parking space taken by the addition.
