21 percent found that local community college standards were just too high.
17 percent cited a strong desire for revenge against parents with high expectations.
11 percent believe NIU sounds just enough like NU that you can get away with misleading some drunken smart girl at a party.
10 percent replied with two words: free condoms.
9 percent said they believe that NIU is an affordable institution with a great campus and good faculty.
7 percent saw the potential of becoming a future Catch of the Day and wanted a really good answer when asked, “What is the worst decision you ever made?”
3 percent don’t believe in participating in fraudulent surveys.
