Today is the last day students can write in for the Campus Activities Board and Student Association executive elections, said Rick Clark, director of University Programming & Activities.
Write-in candidates must register two weeks before the election to get on the ballot, according to SA election policy. Clark said candidates have to register by 4:30 p.m. today in the SA office, located at the Campus Life Building, Suite 180.
“I’m going to be down there to make sure there isn’t going to be any hanky-panky,” Clark said.
Potential write-ins must have attended one of the SA candidate meetings and have signed out an election packet.
On Monday, no one registered as a write-in, Clark said. He said that he heard SA President Shaun Crisler and SA Vice President Andrew Becerra were considering signing up as write-ins, but did not know for certain.
The SA Senate voted in February to make CAB elections campus-wide.
