About 11 ladies will be inducted into the Elogeme Adolphi Christian Sorority this Saturday.

According to its Web site, Elogeme Adolphi Christian Sorority is a Christ-centered organization designed to build, edify and teach women from all walks of life to operate more effectively in the body of Christ. Elogeme Adolphi is not limited to a particular church or denomination.

Kristal Sutton, president of Elogeme Adolphi Christian Sorority Inc., said the process of becoming a member includes, but is not limited to, prayer, Bible study and sisterhood.

The ceremony will include a speaker who is the national adviser for the organization. Sutton said this event will include a naming ceremony. The pledges will receive their modual name as well as their spiritual name.

Sutton said there have been many misconceptions about what the organization is all about and this would be a great chance to address them.

The event is open to all. Sutton said there’s no formal dress requirement.
